The Association shall be known as the South Carolina State Association of Letter Carriers.

The objects of this Association are to assist the National Association of Letter Carriers in maintaining a more perfect organization and improving the Postal Service career. Further, this Association shall strive to organize all Letter Carriers within the state, to conduct training and education seminars, to promote social programs for its members and to guide and direct all activities relating to legislation and represent all branches when requested.
