Hello brother and sisters of South Carolina, and Greetings from this chilly February day. I just wanted to give you an update on the latest meetings with Congresswoman Mace. I was able to meet with her office in late summer of 2025. The meeting was beneficial as far as lettcarriers getting our message across. Her office and I made a handshake agreement, to meet in late fall.

The political landscape has changed since that hot summer day. Congresswoman Mace has decided to run for Governor of South Carolina, and so I have shifted our focus to the candidates running for the house seat in district 1. I will start reaching out to their campaigns and try to start getting together a fact sheet for letter carriers. I know one of the candidates personally, Jenny Honeycut.

I look forward to seeing everyone in Greenville for our State Convention and will hopefully have an update about the candidates and their positions regarding letter carriers and the Postal Service.
